We are looking to hire a Social Media Manager to work from either remotely or from our Langley, BC office.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing social media accounts (analytics and posting) as well as creating posting schedules
Assists with and creates digital content (visual and text) for social media and website platforms
Contributes to web and social media content through video filming and production, photography, graphic elements, and writing.
Assists with marketing initiatives and campaigns,
Use content and understanding of social media to build brand awareness and increase engagement on all platforms
Participate in shooting, editing, and scheduling content for Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc
Work with the Marketing Team and help out with various marketing campaigns such as product launches and events
Coordinate objectives with the marketing team, creative and advertise departments
Review analytics and create reports on key performance indicators
Working with influencers/brands to set up campaigns and build brand awareness.
Assist with client relations, via email, phone call, or in-person meetings
Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages.
Writing marketing literature for company brochures and press releases.
Other Sales and Administrative tasks as assigned by management.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:
A University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, digital media, a related field, or a suitable combination and experience is preferred but not required.
At least 1 year of social media related work experience.
Excellent writing and communication skills. Experience with blogging is a major asset.
Minor graphic design experience.
An eye for detail and aesthetic appeal.
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
Video creation experience is an asset.
Strong/ Proven experience in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn and the best practices for each platform.
Hard-working, proactive and a team player
Highly motivated and able to work independently
WORK CONDITIONS
Full-time, Monday to Friday availability
Sitting/walking throughout the day
Working on a computer for most of the day
Travel to the client site and off-site locations will be required occasionally
Work both indoors and outdoors at tradeshows/demos
Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
Have good attendance and safety record
Full-time, Permanent
